Mark S. “Poppa” Lewis Phone: (814) 362-2705 General E-mail Do you need to work the muscles in the front of your leg below the knee? True, not many people do, but, if you do, The Dungeon has apparatus for three different exercises for this purpose. Does your present training facility have even one? "Dipping" is a great exercise.
You see, bar width is determined by the body proportions of the individual. Does your present gym provide dip bars that adjust to any width and does your trainer know how to use them properly if they do? What length barbells does your present gym have? Granted, some gyms have five foot bars... and that’s great. (It’s also rare!) But, do they have four foot bars or 42" bars? The Dungeon is the only place you’ll find these. Why? Because they work great for certain types of exercises. If you want to use a standard 7 foot Olympic bar for an exercise we have more than enough of those. But, what if you're just starting training and a 45 lb. bar is a bit too much? Would a 30 lb., 7 foot Olympic bar make more sense? We think so. That’s why we have those too! In most gyms the smallest plates are 2 1/2 lbs. which means you must raise weight in 5 lb. increments in a given exercise. But, what if you’re not quite ready to raise your weight that much? At The Dungeon we have 1, 1/2, 1/4 and even 3/8 pound plates for your specific training needs! What about those dumbbell exercises? There’s that 5 lb. jump in weight again! Would a 1 1/4 lb. increase be better? Or how about 2 1/2 or 3 3/4? You guessed it, we got 'em! Are you getting the impression that The Dungeon is a very well equipped gym, more than capable of meeting your specific training needs? At The Dungeon we will teach you all the little tricks and short cuts to help you reach your goals in less time. Want to know more about us? Read our [ mission statement ]. | ||||||||||
